We use the survey responses from the UK Health Follow-up Study to summarize how programs help people across the state of Kentucky. Health programs use this information to better see how they can help people after they have left the program and what people think of their services. We hope this information will help others decide which program is right for them. The state uses the summarized data to better understand health trends and how people do after they have been through a program and to help decide what programs to fund.

The UK Health Follow-up Study is done in Kentucky, by Kentuckians and for Kentuckians. National data doesn’t tell the full story about Kentucky nor does it account for the unique culture of Kentucky.
When Kentucky is compared to other states on health indicators, Kentucky often ranks toward the bottom of the Nation, making health programs very important to people and their families coping with health problems. Kentucky also ranks in the bottom for economic opportunity, which means not only are health programs important but making health programs accessible and affordable is critical.
The survey takes about 15 minutes on the phone and the University of Kentucky will send you a $20 check to thank you for your time.
